The Rotary Foundation - the Rotarians' own foundation

The Rotary Foundation's mission is to support Rotary's activities through local and international, humanitarian and cultural programs to achieve Rotary's purpose and goal - world understanding and peace.

Thanks to generous donations and donations from Rotarians and others who share the vision of a better world, the Rotary Foundation can offer humanitarian efforts in those parts of the world in need.

The Rotary Foundation's grant provides support for projects that provide clean water, healthcare, literacy, and other essentials for needy people around the world. Since 1947, the Rotary Foundation has contributed nearly $ 3 billion to fund these vital efforts.

The Rotary Foundation naturally supports Rotary's top priority, which is to eradicate polio .

As a club, you can apply for District Grants, which are distributed by each district, and Global Grants, which are distributed by the Rotary Foundation centrally, to get funding to carry out their projects. Contact the district TRF committee for more information.

The Rotary Foundation also awards Rotary Peace Scholarships each year for study within a Masters Program at the Rotary Peace Center at six universities around the world. Uppsala University is one of these. The districts have the opportunity to propose peace fellows.
